  4. Helps Resist Chemicals and Stains

Industrial Clear helps protect surfaces from oils, grease, cleaners, automotive fluids and many common household chemicals.

  5. Protection That Lets Your Work Shine

Protection shouldn’t hide your work. Industrial Clear enhances natural colors, grain patterns and details while creating a smooth, high-gloss finish.

  6. Ready for Indoor and Outdoor Use

Once fully cured, Industrial Clear is waterproof and contains UV stabilizers to help slow the damaging effects of sun exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I prepare a surface before applying Industrial Clear?

Surface preparation depends on the material, but all surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, waxes and loose materials. Smooth surfaces may need to be lightly sanded or scuffed to improve adhesion.

Can I apply Industrial Clear over paint or stain?

Yes, provided the paint or stain has fully dried and cured. Moisture or trapped solvents can interfere with adhesion and may affect the appearance of the finish.

How thick can I apply Industrial Clear?

Industrial Clear can be poured in layers between ¼” and ½” thick at a time. For thicker builds, multiple pours are recommended.

How scratch-resistant is Industrial Clear?

Industrial Clear cures to a Shore D hardness rating of 83, creating a hard, scratch-resistant surface. Like most hard finishes, it’s not completely scratch-proof and should not be used as a cutting surface.

Can Industrial Clear be used outdoors?

Yes. After curing, Industrial Clear is waterproof and contains UV stabilizers to help slow yellowing, gloss loss and other signs of weathering caused by sun exposure and the elements.

How long does Industrial Clear take to fully cure?

Industrial Clear begins to harden within 24 hours but requires a full 7 days to reach maximum hardness, chemical resistance and performance.
