Can I use Industrial Clear on different tabletop surfaces?

Yes. Industrial Clear works well on wood, concrete, stone, ceramic, metal, glass, and many other properly prepared surfaces. It’s a versatile choice for a wide range of tabletop projects.

How long before I can use my table?

Industrial Clear begins to harden within 24 hours, but requires a full 7 days to fully cure. For best results, wait until the full cure is complete before putting your table into regular use.

Will my tabletop scratch?

Industrial Clear is highly scratch resistant once fully cured. Like many hard surfaces, it isn’t scratch-proof, so we recommend using coasters, placemats, trivets and desk pads to help keep it looking its best.

Minor surface imperfections can often be sanded and recoated to restore the appearance of your tabletop.

Can I put hot coffee mugs or dinner plates on it?

Yes. Once fully cured, Industrial Clear withstands temperatures up to 190°F (88°C), making it suitable for hot mugs and warm dinner plates. Always use trivets for cookware coming directly from the oven or stovetop.

How do I clean an epoxy tabletop?

Simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner, like mild dish soap. For extra shine, finish with a soft cloth and glass cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh cleaners that could dull the surface over time.

Can I use Industrial Clear on an outdoor table?

Yes. Industrial Clear is waterproof once fully cured and contains UV stabilizers to help slow yellowing. It can withstand seasonal temperature changes, including summer heat, rain, snow and ice.
